Seoul food: Do Ga Hun

Posted Apr 2, 2009

Housed in a traditional Korean style house dating from 1910, new restaurant Do Ga Hun has replaced the usual "homecooked tourist fare" with exceptional modern fusion dishes and organic ingredients.

Mixing Korean and french foods in a new type of fusion - Do Ga Hun not only offers a new form of cooking but a new style of restaurant too.

Opening as a cafe during the afternoon from 11am to 4:30pm, Do Ga Hun then re-opens as a restaurant and wine bar at night, last orders being at the very useful pre-club, post-drinks (?!) hour of 1am.

Recommended are its grilled scallops, steaks using only the finest Korean beef, and lamb ribs with organic vegetables.

Do Ga Hun is located at 109 Sagan-dong, Jongno-gu - Seoul dogahun.com
