Pat McGrath on next spring's sensual look

Posted Dec 30, 2009

The models on Dolce & Gabbana's spring 2010 catwalk looked the very essence of Latin sensuality. Tired of sitting at our desks looking washed out, we called on Pat McGrath for a few tips.

Backstage at the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2010 catwalk shaw - Pat McGrath was hard at work taking the visions of the designers and putting it into practice.

This new modern drop-dead glamour look has its emphasis on the mouth. Luscious lips were everywhere - and as Pat reveals below the secret, is a mix of Dolce & Gabbana's lipsticks in cult shades Dahlia, Devil and Ultra.

Inspired by the Latin world, in particular Argentina and Sicily, the models make-up had its emphasis on perfect skin, and groomed eyebrows. Perfect skin came courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana's Perfect Finish Powder Foundation.

Striking lips came courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana's own lipsticks. Avaible in cream or matt versions, the lipsticks provide bold colour that is both provocative and disarming, with a smoothness that exudes sensuality. The twenty-seven shades are passionate, feminine and descriptive.
