An elite corps of sixty-five private trainers, chosen from L.A’s top professional trainers awaits the clientele at The Sport’s Club L.A’s branch, along with a 10,000 square foot Weight Training Gym, a 150 piece Cardiovascular Loft, a FitLab, a Flexibility/Balance Centre, Specialty Fitness Programs, a sun-deck with waiter service, valet parking, an executive laundry service, spa, crèche and award winning restaurant. That’s before we even mention its members.
According to the site’s "Steam Room", the whispers are as follows; Kim Catrall tones up here pre-Sex and the city, Tom Cruise enjoys laps in the junior Olympic pool whilst Katie works on her cardiovascular on the elliptical machine. Kevin Spacey takes time off directing here, the Bacon Brothers are fans of the cycles, as is John Travolta, whilst Jennifer Garner and Brooke Shields are also said to have enjoyed the facilities. We love a bit of name-dropping too.
The L.A branch is part of a group that has ten gyms located in what we've noticed are all the key shopping destinations (we admit we need a little encouragement to work out) that include Miami, Beverly Hills, NY’s Upper East Side and San Francisco.
