A dog look for the park

Posted Oct 26, 2010

Enter the circus of doggy hairstyles. No, we are not kidding, these animals are real and dressed for the shooting occasion.

Directed by photographer Tim Flach and shot in order to bring the viewer to such proximity with the animal that he/she cannot resist seeing these dogs as humans.

It is a one-to-one experience with an animal that leads to an anthropomorphic rendez-vous. Forget wildlife here, it is very urban and so human.

To complete these looks you need either a hairdresser that comes to your home or to travel and reach Tim’s studio. The trick to catch your doggy’s fashionable look is to get the rising star into the mood. It is not a human being, remember? Unpredictable but so surprising, trough Tim’s lens your 4-paws best friend reveals to be full of humour and vulnerable. While achieving a pose performance, he should give you an attitude… Click... it is in the box!

An eye-to-eye conversation about hairstyle that is immortalised, if you are not sure that he/she fancies to be seen as over brushed or as a Bob Marley fan, at least you should.
