With retox uppermost in our minds, NY salons are quite literally a cocktail of treatments.
When the city of grooming decides to loosen up you know its time to take a little tequila with your tanning. One of NY’s late night salons, Red Market is located in the meatpacking district. It features an after-hours menu that combines excellent service, a great play-list, talented staff and above all a little fun while you beautify.
Late night opening hours ensure there are no excuses not to look your best. Dashing Diva follows a similar concept and La Vie Zen Spa actually offers a midnight facial to go.
Aura Wellness Spa is a relatively new entry to the above, a Koreatown spa, with freestanding igloos (studded with crystals nonetheless) that are in fact traditional Korean saunas that offer steam and ice rooms open until 2am.
Hairdressers are also following suit, stylist to the stars, Frederic Fekkai in Soho also offers late appointments with the added advantage that after being preened you can immediately head straight for the nightlife, working the salon look.
Finally Cinderella has an excuse to stay out late.
