Back in 2007, we wanted to see more of the soccer players off the field. The designers Dolce & Gabbana wanted to stress the importance of family as well as continuing the campaigns with soccer playes as new icons. Family is the only thing that matters.
Photographer Mariano Vivanco interpreted the new feel.

The New Hippies: from the Mid West to North Africa
The FW02 collection was a mix and match of styles, inspirations, historical periods and ethnicities. In an effort to hone in on the concept of casual luxury, Dolce&Gabbana fashioned a collection built on contrasts. North African, Hippie, Victorian and Western, were merged in a marriage of styles, fabrics and silhouettes.

The brand’s capacity to take the artistic traditions and aesthetic of Italy and make them their own is unsurpassable and highly romantic to fashion lovers.
