An inspiring true story revealed by Stefano Gabbana in a recent interview: “it was so much tighter that what the market offered. We started calling it the Gabbana shirt, and I have it in my closet in Portofino and wear it from time to time”. 20 years ago, Domenico and Stefano decided to try their talent in the menswear department, if it began with a simple white shirt, that is now one of their classics, today the men’s collections comprise everything a man should have in his closet to claim his fame. If one cannot be reduced to his appearance, in this case the shirt makes the man at least the Dolce&Gabbana Man…

The New Hippies: from the Mid West to North Africa
The FW02 collection was a mix and match of styles, inspirations, historical periods and ethnicities. In an effort to hone in on the concept of casual luxury, Dolce&Gabbana fashioned a collection built on contrasts.
