Domenico and Stefano took the CNN team on a very special journey: recalling 20 years of menswear. The Revealed team was invited to a 20th anniversary celebration in the form of an exhibition-event held at Palazzo Marino on Piazza della Scala, in Milan. This 20-year menswear retrospective was a “thank you” to the fashion capital of Italy, and also to everyone who took part in the Dolce&Gabbana journey over the past two decades. The spring summer 2011 menswear show was a thrilling affair with Annie Lennox on the piano as a very special guest providing a live soundtrack. A mesmerizing fashion moment that will undoubtedly stand the test of time.
This
new
episode of Revealed also gives us an insight into Stefano and Domenico’s
daily lives. Moving stories that tell us about their interest in contemporary
art, their holidays, food, and fashion memories with Madonna, Kylie Minogue or
Eva Mendes, as well as the inspiration they draw from Sicily and Italian Cinema.
Words from Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, David Gandy or Noah Mills highlight
the fact that being part of the Dolce&Gabbana adventure is not just another
job, it is like working with 'family'.
Dolce&Gabbana is more than an Italian fashion house; it is a love story from
which a business success evolved. The designers explain how their love for each
other is the heart of their brand. The success that these 2 talented and
passionate characters have enjoyed, comes as no surprise: the result of 20 years
of drawings, tailoring and creations will surely lead to another 20 years of
celebrated designs!

The New Hippies: from the Mid West to North Africa

In an effort to hone in on the concept of casual luxury, Dolce&Gabbana fashioned a collection built on contrasts.
