Swide Magazine by Dolce&Gabbana

Last June Dolce&Gabbana celebrated 20 years of menswear design during the course of a unique exhibition weekend in Palazzo Marino, Milan.

 

During men SS11 Milan fashion week the creative duo hosted an evening recalling memories on iPad screens and old-fashioned books.
A moment to remember for the happy few that were invited to this anniversary Saturday night fever or for those who were in Milan the following day when the exhibition was open to the public. No fashion happening can actually happen without blogging coverage. Nowadays bloggers are street voices or journalists to become; either way, they give their opinion and at Swide we like it and wanted to show some nice blogging ways. Various posts with rich content can still surprise and we were amazed when we found out about a nice & sweet comic strip done by the blogger behind HAIKALcium Lowfat.

 
Using images found on the web + add a personal view on those and you get an original tribute to an Italian fashion house that has revolusionised menswear during its first twenty years of existence. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said "thank you" in June during the Milanese fashion week but they can be pleased and should be proud to see that the young blogger generation knows fashion history and waved “thank you” in return.
