A 20th Anniversary story video

A fashion weekend to remember for A-list celebrities, menswear lovers,
fashionistas and all the people who worked on this event to make it unique,
memorable and grandioso.
Tradition and modernity blended, iPads next to books, an array of televisions, a
transistor; 3 different rooms to relate inspirations and past collections. It
was a great couture happening in the heart of Milan. Thanks to Domenico and
Stefano, Piazza della Scala got a temporary high tech make over and the Palazzo
Marino got its moment of fame. Comments left on a white board inside the City
Hall or on YouTube attest that this gift to the city of Milan was well received
and more than appreciated by an army of fans known or unknown. The few words
said by Eva Herzigova, Rachel Weisz, or Anna Dello Russo, the appearance of
movie stars such as Monica Bellucci, Morgan Freeman, Matthew McConaughey added
some glam but did also point up the high profile of this Italian fashion house
when it comes to menswear.

The New Hippies: from the Mid West to North Africa
The FW02 collection was a mix and match of styles, inspirations, historical periods and ethnicities. In an effort to hone in on the concept of casual luxury, Dolce&Gabbana fashioned a collection built on contrasts. North African, Hippie, Victorian and Western, were merged in a marriage of styles, fabrics and silhouettes.
