Mr. Dolce & Mr. Gabbana's Interactive Tale of the Collection

SANTA CECILIA is a document put together from fragments of a video shoot of the daily work involved in the making of the Dolce&Gabbana Women’s Fall/Winter 2012 Collection. Shot by Domenico and Stefano in person in the days preceding the show. The designers document with a smart phone the creative moments: a skirt that needs to be shortened, an accessory to change, a jacket to give shape. Video-notes that dig into the creative process without any intermediaries. The designers’ point of view is what guides the camera during the run-through of the pre-show and the fitting by putting the attention on the fundamental details of the final looks that will appear on the catwalk.
SANTA CECILIA is a small documentary by Domenico and Stefano that guides us through the Dolce&Gabbana Women’s F/W 2012 Collection by taking a different angle. The documentary will be published exclusively on Swide.com at 2.30 pm (GMT+1) on Sunday the 27th of February in closure of the DOLCE&GABBANA DONNA Fall/Winter 2012 fashion show set in Metropol, Milan.
