Swide backstage at DG: en attendant le show

Posted Feb 28, 2010

Catwalk shows always start with much waiting in line - and while queuing models tend to get creative to keep sane. It is all about attracting some camera attention and for that each one has her own posing technique...

Some of them go for simplicity - looking up into the camera hoping the eye-catching scarlet might be enough.

Aware that the lady in red is getting all the looks it is all the next girl can do to bend over into getting noticed - not the classiest of moves but most certainly does the trick.

When a safe bet is a winning bet - the seductive sideways glance never fails.

Others are more conceptual - the statue pose was big on the Dolce & Gabbana staircase.

For the retro fans - a little Robocop posing for a fun 80s touch.

Ohers are trying to pass off as inconspicuous - part of the Playing-hard-to-get school of seduction.

The sneakier ones play the jealousy card - there is nothing like seeing a rival at work to spark interest.

And then there are the downright odd ones who go for the totally bizarre - some will try anything for a little photo opportunity!
