Show some lift love
In a rush to catch the lift yesterday, I was horrified when I got close to the doors, only to hear a ping and the doors closing. Whoever was waiting for the lift will remain nameless - but put it this way Anna Wintour you're not. Without a backwards glance, or an apology I was left waiting another ten minutes for a lift.
This is not the first incident may I add of fashion following art (if of course you can call Devil Wears Prada art when everybody knows it's of course more fiction. Life is in fact a whole lot worse at the glittery coalface of fashion...).
Anyway, the office " fashion amateurs" having obviously watched The Devil Wears Prada several times on DVD appear to have committed Anna Wintour’s power-diva behaviour to memory and now appear to believe the only way to succeed in fashion - and to this I want to say read the book my lovelies you have no idea what she had to do first and it wasn't just riding lifts alone (House & Garden anyone??) have taken it upon themselves to opt for an empty lift.
Not only does this behaviour showcase the obvious diva like tendencies but demonstrates a more shocking look at their personal lives - for as we all know, who on earth wants to ride anything alone ;-)
