It's like you had plastic surgery

Quite astonishing discovery today (relative to this world of course) - via the press office's daily press coverage update. The word on the street is that Russian women in the know are saying that putting on a Dolce & Gabbana dress, ensures you look like you've been to the salon plastic surgeon!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, we all have our favourite dress(es) that give us a nip and a tuck in all the right places, but when I'm wearing mine I don't believe my friends/colleagues/lovers have EVER said, "Wow, you look like you've just had plastic surgery", it's usually more of a, "Are you on a diet/lost weight/stressed...?" or dare I even say it, "You look nice". Imagine, you're sat next to your friend, and she say's, "Wow you look great in that dress, have you had plastic surgery???"
The plastic surgery compliment really raises the bar - and yet again proves my scary theory from Tuesday that the levels of competition amongst a certain group of women are beyond my reach entirely - add to the private jet, ex model credentials, talent of a professional musician and now the perfection of plastic surgery.
Anyway, to amuse myself I spent the entire day randomly complimenting colleagues, telling them they looked so good it was as if they'd had plastic surgery. Most of it was of course lost in translation but at least now I know the colleagues who are secretly saving saving their bonuses for it (several).
