Yes, you may be thinking fashion is one long round of air-kissing - and for the most part it is. In fact it always is - but this however is the big problem - there is always a launch, a catwalk show to prepare, a celebrity to take shopping and I have no idea when the world expects fashion to have its beauty sleep??? I've pretty much realised now the answer is never and hence the need for so much botox...
Anyway with this in mind (the lack of holidays and not the botox) and to celebrate our devotion to work, our team decided to get married to itself last night, the closest we all secretly feared we may come to the real thing. We celebrated our union with the chicest cake this side of Milan ...It was all very emotional, especially after all the vino.
The cake was a complete surprise and not only because we never eat dessert but had apparantely involved ten calls to a confused baker who had assumed that red meant well, red. How wrong he was. To ensure the logo's colour was the exact shade of red (we're nothing if not perfectionists here) - an army of assistants had been dispatched to work alongside him to ensure the colour reached the exact swide shade of red. If only we'd got to see them in their baker hats...
Anyway with the marriage done and dusted - we're off on honeymoon now.
