Yes, despite in the average person's life - February is a month of down-time, a time to escape the winter cold and head for the sun (well not quite the average person's life then but, you know what I mean...) - in the fashion world February is one word - MADNESS. So, as my to-do list currently looks as if I only have a month left to live on this planet, I've decided, quite simply in order to make life easier to cancel (socially) the rest of the month.
In fact I'm not the only one. My "close" friends (i.e. the ones I see outside of fashion weeks) also disappear off to - "TO-DO Land", a unique place consisting of neon lighting, high stress and bad food during the months spanning Feb & March and thus leaving friends and relationships stranded in a strange limbo of unreturned calls, emails and, "sorry I'm crazy" texts.
