Fashion flu
My wardrobe, body and mind is confused byt today's current state of events. Not only I am forced to wear - and dare I say it, a tracksuit at home in order to keep me warm and stop me shivering from this very stupid fashion flu (I blame the lack of male models) but I'm also worryingly receiving a constant update of emails from my friends who have decided to opt out of fashion altogether....
I've been out of the office for precisely six hours with this cursed illness and I'm already suffering withdrawals from heels - gossip - my usual black uniform and of course Mr.G, so the thought of leaving it al for India/Sri Lanka/small village hasn't really ever crossed my mind - but it would seem my friends have taken the January blues to extremes.
In what appears to be my Facebook friend trend - the heels are off and my friends have packed their suitcases for another lifestyle and one that has no catwalks??? I'm not sure exactly what to think right now (given I'm high on Lemsips, or the Italian equivalent) but I'm pretty sure it has to do with the credit crunch. If one can't afford a new wardrobe every season for the office - it would seem beachwear could be the only solution. I'm writing to the goverment asap.
