Fashion Week Survival 101

1.Relax and breathe...it's only fashion !

Breathe. It may come natural, but we often forget to do it.Simply close your eyes and imagine yourself far way from the burdens of the runway tents and taking in some sun on a deserted beach.
2. Rather than stress you out, use your PDA to make you smile.

When you’re not on blackberry messenger, twittering or emailing work related messages, use your PDA for enjoyment and watch a funny clip on Youtube. Laughing is a healthy distraction and can often relieve tension and anxiety.
3. Audio therapy does the body good.

In a fashion jungle filled with loud screeches and terrifying roars, treating your ears to some audio therapy can help cure any unwanted noise of the mind.
4. Rest. Your body can only endure so much.

Even though you’re mind may be filled with fashion show seating arrangements or party planning details, turn off that brain and sleep. Sleep is vital to our health and we need to remember that some things are more important.
5. Give yourself a much needed coffee break.

When you’re working long hours, coffee breaks become more of a necessity. How else are you going to be able to get enough energy to bypass pesky photographers and pushy pr's?
6. If coffee doesn't cut it, then why not try a little bubbly?

Ok.This may be this easy way out, but champagne has a reputation of calming one's nerves. Why not treat yourself to a bubble bath with your favourite bubbly?
7. Have a quick conversation with that one person who keeps you sane.

8.Hide for a second, regroup and return to the chaos that waits. A break doesn’t hurt anyone.
Whether it's your parent, lover, sibling, or friend, we all have that one person who centers us. Give them a call and they will be sure to calm you down in the heat of a breakdown.

Sometimes it's best just to get a way for a second. Regroup and remember what you came for.
9. Be sure to keep hydrated.

Drink lots of water. Water is necessary for our body to operate efficiently. Coffee maybe the fuel for fashionistas, but water is the fuel for humans.
10.Don't underestimate the power of words.

Whether you find them on mugs or boards, motivational words help to get through the difficult situations.
