Eyes Swide Shot: Fashion's summer accessory

Eat your heart out Rihanna - the umbrella (parasol?) is hitting luxury yachts throught the Med as we speak. In seasons gone by, a thick beach towel, mineral water and sunglasses were all you needed to show the world your high maintenance credentials - that was however until the umbrella hit the sunny shores of Portofino/Panarea/Ibiza.
Interestingly to note (it's August), unlike the umbrella antics seen on the red carpet, the A-List appear to give their minders a holiday too, by carrying their own umbrellas. We're really quite proud...
Proving however it may still take more than an umbrella to get the likes of Mario Testino over for lunch whilst on holiday - designer Domenico Dolce is featured above on the designer's yacht. What we wonder is the joke, we really hate to be left in the shade...
