Eye swide shot: Domenico Dolce's final check

Posted Jun 22, 2009

The catwalk is a beautiful place. Backstage however is a different atmosphere. It's where last minute changes happen and the perfectionists come out to play.

Just before the models hit the catwalk, designer Domenico Dolce is on hand to check every single outfit they're wearing before it makes its debut on the catwalk. We wonder if Domenico could be available to do the same for us before we leave the house every morning...? It would certainly help.

Model Noah Mills gets his tie straightened.

Should the cap stay or go?

The beauty is in the details.

Last minute adjustments - and by this we'd like to point out, an actual needle and thread are in use.

Elegance is all a tie's position (and of course the model pose helps here too...)

Even Jesus needs his tie straightening from time to time it would appear.

All backstage images are from the recent SS10 Dolce & Gabbana menswear show.
