Dolce & Gabbana slang

Posted Jan 30, 2009

Whilst in a v.important (obviously) meeting today I discovered the office code for SHUT-UP, SAY NO MORE...

As we're talking fashion now - it only follows that the DG code would be named after a bag...and not just any bag - but next season's (D&G) bag. As the meeting progressed and our to-do lists grew (at an alarming rate??!!) - so did the company slang.

Turns out - not only should one's wardrobe be the epitome of elegance in the office, but obviously one's thoughts. In a move symbolic of Victorian elegance - rather than letting it all hang out (we're talking opinions here, not flesh) - it's considered preferable to keep one's additional thoughts to one's notepad - i.e. do a Lily and zip it.

Needless to say, I'm loving how the use of one word - Lily is all I need say to my colleagues when they ask me a question and I'm busy on Facebook.

One word - Lily. Join the (slient) club.
