Do you know where I work???

Posted Apr 20, 2009

After a weekend of Gossip Girl and not much else - I'm channelling their name-dropping in order to get out of this week's unwanted tasks.

In order to get over life in the surreal world that is fashion week - I travelled to an exotic location for the weekend - the sofa.

For 48 hours I proceeded to lose myself into yet another surreal world - that of my Gossip Girls DVDs. Unable to face the supermarket/the dry cleaners/the gym/normal people just yet - I opted to spend a little more time in the world of the pampered and the privileged.

Ah what a pleasure it was - and naturally it came as a quite the shock this morning when I finally left my house only to be greeted by greasy hair, over-sized pores and last season's looks.

The local bar refusing to even acknowledge my presence (Monday's depression has hit even a usual sunny Italy) I unconsciously, made a loud sighing noise and without even thinking I slammed by Dolce & Gabbana shopping bag on the counter. Worked of course - but after this little display it’s high time I get some reality. If not, I'm concerned namedropping in the style of Gossip Girl's Queen bee, Blair - "I'm a Dolce & Gabbana girl" is just around the corner.

With thanks to Gossip Girl xoxo
