Bath time anyone?
The guys at DG land certainly know how to keep us on our toes - quite literally. As glamorous press launches pop up at an alarming rate, we're kept in a "blow-dry, manicure, self tanning, high maintenance bubble", that ensures we all look ridiculously out of place doing anything as practical as going to the supermarket.
For evenings such as last night - the press unveiling of five new D&G fragrances, I had to admit our office was an exceptionally finely turned out bunch - groomed to within an inch of their lives, and despite initial appearances, not in mourning at all. As my colleague pointed out en-route to the D&G office, "we all look like we're going to a funeral" thus making a grave sartorial error, as everybody knows black=chic, and that certain funeral services are harder to get into than the first day of a sample sale and exceptionally chic (kind of).

Despite the world's supermodels peering down on us (Claudia, Naomi, Eva, Tyson and our new favourite bathtime boy...) the crowd certainly held their own. Accessorizing their party dresses with surprisingly, not oversized designer bags but juniper berries, jasmine flowers, and lilies.
Do NOT fear - we don't plan to put flowers in our hair just yet, there's not a hippy bone in our bodies, the flowers were all part of an invitation to smell the new fragrances ingredients. In a very professional manner coffee beans were laid out between the "scent rooms" to ensure we got the correct olfactory experience. Pity then, the poor lady (you know who you are) who assumed the shot glass was a new cocktail and thus almost choked on her raw caffeine fix. Big night at the disco honey?
