It was an indecisive person’s nightmare in London on the evening of June 13th as two of the greatest venues were booked up by two famous faces. The first owns a soulful voice, which has been releasing R’n’B records for a decade and the other face is equipe with a voice, that is by no means new to belting out a tune or two but a fresh face to the Hollywood scene, Alicia Keys and Matthew Morrison.
Yes, as I said, an in decisive person’s nightmare. They obviously have their differences and attract varied crowds but they are two names that are on everybodies lips right now? Who would have you picked?

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of her globally successful debut Songs in A-Minor, Alicia Keys performed a intimate gig where the only instruments were a piano and her voice. She took the audience on a journey through her debut record giving personal commentary to explain the meaning behind the music. The gig was held at the Royal Albert Hall and gave the audience to see the songstress in her element, taking her time to take reflect on the record that made her. The audience belted out the tunes just like they did ten years ago, arms in the air, lighters on full and maybe even a sway or two.

In another part of London at the Apollo Theatre the sound of showtunes and cover versions were being blasted out and keeping the adoring audience out of their seats. Mr. Morrison has featured on Swide recently noting his current attempts to create a solo name for himself as well as his sexy teacher alter-ego. Matthew Morrison crooned, romanced and and danced his way through an electifying set of famous songs with the help of a diverse band and even a ukulelee rendition of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow'. Go Morrison!
So what do you think? A concert celebrating a debut that launched a superstar or a broadway showman to put a tap in your foot? I JUST CAN'T DECIDE!
