1. Natalia Kills comes from a multicultural background: raised in Bradford,
Leeds and West Yorkshire to a Jamaican father and a Uruguayan mother.
2. Before her musical career, she played the part of the character 'Sima' in
'All About Me' in BBC.
3. In early 2008, she was the number 1 unsigned artist on MYSPACE. Her demo songs were then blogged about by Perez Hilton as 'a breath of fresh air'.
4. She's a girl of many talents. Natalia Kills is an artist, songwriter, actress and a short-film director.
5. Kills produced and co-directed a mini-series, Love Kills xx, with her album as the soundtrack. The new series will start in early spring 2011. The first one was a mix of dream sequences, song snippets and femme fatale poetry. On using music as a way to express certain bursts of emotions in the films, she says: 'If you mute a film, you don't know when the killer is coming and without that tension there is no feeling of curiosity or fear. But when you have the pulse of the music, it provokes an emotion. That's what I'm inspired by - creating a full-on experience.'
