Editing
is one of Jefferson’s expertise but we were more aware of it on paper or on
screen rather than on tunes. If one can expect the Editor in Chief of an
independent renown magazine to be on top of it when it comes to music, it is
still a nice surprise to discover that we are not only in tune with his words
and editorials. What is SX70 about?
Some old beats that sound new, some new rhythms that recall old ones… More than
just another take on the seventies it is a real and deep interpretation of what
has been played and sung. A mix of decades with 2010 releases such as Disko
Drunkards by The Glimmers or Waves by Boys Noize & Erol Alkan and 70s/80s
tracks: Still You by Justine & The Victorian Punks or Optimo by Liquid
