Featuring a line-up of pianists from the “Incontri col Maestro” International Piano Academy of Imola. The pianists will be able to choose the piece they wish to perform. Doesn’t matter what we end up listening, whether it will be the Polonaise in repeat or the Ballads, with a certain preference for waltzes, because Chopin and Schumann’s compositions speak directly to the heart. The young performers will play their favourite pages and thus will honour music that for two centuries has gifted with the means to listen and find the way to our own hearts.
