MITO MUSIC FESTIVAL OPENING

An entire month dedicated to Music, in particularly Chopin and Schumann, The Turkish World, and two modern German composers. Milan and Turin will be involved in the event and whilst the program is so extensively rich, reason why we have to redirect to the website of the organization for making plans, tickets have already started being rampaged by music aficionados. The opening will see Robert Schumann’s Ouverture in do minore for “Genoveva” op. 81, Concerto in la minoreFor pianoforte and orchestra op. 54, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Ouverture “Meeresstille und glückliche Fahrt” op. 27 (1828) Robert Schumann’s Sinfonia n. 1 in si bemolle maggiore op. 38 “Sinfonia Primavera”(revised by Gustav Mahler), by the Orchestra del Gewandhaus in Lipsia Riccardo Chailly directing, Kit Armstrong at the pianoforte, at Teatro della Scala in Milan.
