It is time to save the date! To celebrate men's fashion week and new collections at Spiga2, 6 Male Musicians will "dress" up with 8 designers on Sunday June 19th. We have met the designers... now let's meet the boys.

 

 

Now that you have the date penned into your diary let's meet the musicians. 

 

Anders, also known as AC, has toured and performed with artists such as Raveonettes, Tomasz Stanko and Savage Rose and featured on many other albums with his skills. He released his debut “Dear Someone”, which was noted as an “optimistic debut” by Sundance, and is known to shift between jazz and rock.  He was born in Denmark and has lived in New York, London and Milan. 

  

Diego was born in Milan and is Mexican Origin and is no stranger to being a boy in a band. He has played with Mecury Drops, I’ve killed the Cat and currently plays for Yut. He is a mixed bag of tricks as he can turn his hand to drumming, djing and is also an architect. Diego likes to mix different art forms and was the creator of interactive project “Play the City” and has also been part of many events using his musical talents; Diesel, Alexander McQueen, Rolex to name but a few. 

  

Fausto hails from Arigento in Sicily, graduated in Computer Engineering and is currently enrolled in on a specialist sound engineering course whilst finding time to pick the guitar. Fair play to him! The young guitarist went on the road with company “Eva Duarte”, which performed original music in Italy and abroad. He is also the founder of Acoustic jazz band “Four on Six” and created himself a fan base, which is about to get bigger. 

  

This Italian born guitarist is no stranger to the music scene and bringing his skills to Boys in the Band for us to enjoy. He is the front-runner of the band “Frances and The Cats”, which formed in 2010 and have already got themselves into a studio to record their debut which is due out this Summer.  

  

All the way from Reggio Calabria, I’d like to present you with Francesco Violi our Operatic voice. He studied with the best of Teatro La Scala in Milan and has worked with some famous artists including Bjork and Anthony and the Johnsons. He has lived in Rome and New York and isn’t just a voice to heard but a musician to admire as her also plays piano, guitar and bass.

  

The youngest of our boys comes from Vancouver although he was originally born in Hong Kong and has joined the team with his Cello. He has studied music since he was very young and now combines that passion as he globe trots and also pursues a modeling career. Other skills that this guy packs are his talents with the guitar and piano.

Well, there you have it. All we need now is you and suggest you come down to Spiga2 in Milan on Sunday 19th June and join in the fun.
