Unleash the Wild Beasts

Posted Feb 16, 2010

To kick off their North American tour, the multi-talented UK quartet, Wild Beasts have released a new video, “We still got the taste dancin’ on our tongues’, proving yet again that this band’s sound cannot be tamed.

Upon embarking on a nation-wide American tour, Wild Beasts release the video for their third single off their sophomore album, ‘Two Dancers’ entitled “We still got the taste dancin’off our tongues”. Staying consistent to their eerie falsettos and ethereal imagery, Wild Beasts’ newest video falls nothing short of magical. We couldn’t help but notice the similarities between the video for “Hooting & Howling” and their most recent: the band is either submerged or levitated into nature’s elements.

“We still got the taste of dancin’ on our tongues”

Wild Beasts’ newest video has the band slowly levitating through a dark bush field while having tiny specs of hail sprinkle their faces. All the while, a horse is galloping around the field and never coming into contact with the band. In comparison, the video for “Hooting & Howling” lacks much movement, as the band is submerged and floating underwater. Not wanting to add any distraction and/or take away from their craft, Wild Beats continue to allow the music to be the sole star.
