U2 gets a new pair of boots

It's funny but when travelling the world it's always the Irish or the Italians receive a welcoming reception from e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e.
As Italian DJ's - The Crookers have just remixed U2's new single - we're guaranteeing an international love-in.
The remixed version of "Get on your boots" made it's fashion debut on the Dolce & Gabbana FW10 catwalk during Milan womenswear fashion week - we asked The Crookers how it all happened.
SWIDE: What was it like working with U2?
THE CROOKERS: We didn't actually work with them but did the remix from our bedroom studio as usual!!
SWIDE: How did the working partnership happen?
THE CROOKERS: The main reason was because Will i am suggested we could make a good one for that and I also found out that the son of interscope's boss is a fan of ours...which probably helps!
SWIDE: The inspiration behind the remix?
THE CROOKERS: We basically worked around the original bassline and built the remix using that as a starting point, what comes after is pretty much random work and choosing the best bits.
