Dan Levy musician and soundtrack composer & French/Finnish singer Olivia Merilahti are "The Dø" - a duo that last year released their debut album A Mouthful on chic French record label Cinq7 also home to electro-star Calvin Harris (check out thier website and you'll understand what we mean).
So far two singles have been released from the album - “On My Shoulders” and “At Last!” that have stormed their native French charts. Currently touring the world - we don't think it's long before the rest of the world is sending them amour.
The name The Dø originates from the first and last note on a musical scale, "do". Using the same concept in their music, the group mixes both old and new references as well as crossing musical genres from blues and jazz to hip-hop and rock & roll.
The Dø's 2009 tour dates are as follows:
