The Pet Shop Boys produce a post-punk classic

The Pet Shop Boys have returned to their studio to produce artist Sam Taylor Wood's single cover version of the post punk classic, "I'm in Love with a German Film Star" originally recorded by The Passions .The video available now on youtube is a filmed portrait shot by Baillie Walsh and features Sam Taylor-Wood styled as Marlene Dietrich.
Sam Taylor-Wood has sung on two previous collaborations with Pet Shop Boys: cover versions of Serge Gainsbourg’s, "Je t’aime…moi non plus" and Donna Summer's, "Love To Love You Baby", the latter under the pseudonym Kiki Kokova. More than this it also adds to the excitment of next year's new Pet Shop Boy's album release.
"I'm in love with a German Film Star" single is available now through iTunes.
