Return of the Audio Bullys

The Audio Bullys are an electronic music duo from the U.K, consisting of Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale. They first found success on the house scene in 2003 with their freshman album, “Ego War”. The album was a fresh-filled compilation of beat-bumping hits like,, We don’t care” and “The things”. With thanks to “Ego War”, Audio Bullys became one of the bands to watch out for in 2003. Audio Bullys soon after released their sophomore album, “Generation”. Like with “ Ego War”, Audio Bullys incorporated the same core ingredients, but it was the creative direction behind the entire album that let them down.

Audio Bullys. have made their discontent no secret in talking about their disappointment of their last album, “Generation”. In a 2008 interview Simon Franks suggested that they followed the direction of the record label, Virgin, too much: "We should never have listened to anyone else". "Virgin admitted they didn't know how to market house music, and it slowly turned into us making this slower album”.
2010 marks the return of Audio Bullys, as they will be releasing a new album, “Higher than the Eiffel Tower” on March 29th. After having locked themselves in a studio in East London in hopes of reigniting the magic that first brought them success, Audio Bullys look forward to gaining back their fans with the release of the new album. They’ve already given us a taste of what to expect with their new video, “Only man”. “Only man” showcases the duo’s ability to blend sounds of other genres alongside electro, in this case being rock. We look forward to seeing whether Audio Bullys catapult their way back to top of the electronic scene.
