Metric's new fantasies
Fantasies is inspired by different influences such as new wave, glam-rock, dance and indie-pop - everything mixed in a perfect balanced cluster and full of unexpected listening experiences.
The second single from their new album is a track entitled “Gimme sympathy”, directed by Frank Borin. We're on already feeling the fact - Metric loves a roleplay. Take a look at the video below.
Metric formed their band in 1998. With strong backgrounds as musicians, “Fantasies” is their 4th album, and yet another confirmation of their indie attitude.

Emily Haines, Metric's singer and synths player, looks like a modern day Debbie Harry with her blonde charm and natural talent.

Celebrating the UK release of Fantasies in May, Metric's members recently posted new daily content day on drownedinsound.com. Documentary, comments on the tracks and behind the scenes shots from their "Sick Muse" video.
