January 25th: the nominations are out. After waiting anxiously, here we are, at least we know which direction the Academy is taking. With all the stars we know, and full-on research in the media, (plus industry friends), here are the possible winners. You want to bet?

For some reason, the Oscars always create the most avid gamblers, so it isn't difficult to browse through the internet in search of enlightened news. We trust in the official website oscar.go.com where you can also get the full list of nominees. But there are some for prediction addicts such as moviefone.com (but we beat them on prediction timing, thank you press office). However, being an editorial team at Swide (starstruck connections), we can assure you our list is based on most probable factors. To make things easier: there is a second category - the We wish Oscar - just for the sake of it, and maybe we will be surprised by some of the Academy's choices. In any case, we will be waiting for Oscar night, February 27th, popcorns on our Designer gown lap, to win the bet.
