In or Out? The Oscars.

Posted Feb 28, 2011

To be correct: inside or outside? What do we actually care about? The clothes, the glitz, the wins, the beards, the colors... We followed some stars around to see....

So the final verdict is out for us estranged within fashion week month. Who won, who didn't, who grew a beard (Christian Bale), who left the Kodak theatre because he/she lost (we can't mention names), who is so perfect as to put us to shame (common to get the man, the belly, and the Oscar all at once?! - Natalie P. you are too perfect. For the ones who only got to see quickly this morning on the news the winners (they never show the losers do they), well it's all archived now. Who wore what, what are the trends (mermaid skirt makes a come-back), what colors (red and purples... and classic whites), which cheezy song was performed (Over the Rainbow), and who walked both on and off stage.....

Scarlett Johansson on the Red Carpet Oscars 2011

Definitely the color of the Oscars: the purple lace dress... gone are the days where purple was off-limits on stage.

Men always opt for a classic look, winning of course. The Red Carpet view of the Statuette.

Another infamous trend the Red gown presented by a bearded man director Thierry Guetta copying the trend from Christian Bale.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez in Dolce&Gabbana matching outfits.
Too cute, two rising stars "playing" the Red Carpet.
