Olivia Wilde at the Cowboys and Aliens premier

Olivia Wilde shone like the star she is on the red carpet for the premier of ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ and informs The New York Times that she was brought up not to rely on looks.

Dressed in a long, black, lace dress she stole the breath of the photographers who were lucky enough to take her photograph. With her hand placed on her hip, the light bulbs of the paparazzi sparkled in the her blue eyes, but she was taught not to rely on her looks for personal gain.

During her childhood and teenage years her mother taught her that beauty should not be used for personal gain and that a person should work for what they want. This message, she told The New York Times, is still something that she believes in and helps her cope with the pressures that Hollywood can apply. 

Still, there is no denying that she is a Hollywood beauty and that her looks have never failed to help her steal the show and at the ‘Cowboys and Aliens’ premier this certainly was that case.

And it appears that she is right... even when she is dressed down, relaxed and going about her daily business in LA it appears that cameras can't leave her alone.
