Never a stranger to gossip, Liz Hurley takes up her role as Diana Payne in 5th season of hit US TV show Gossip Girl.

The announcement of Liz Hurley’s latest acting endeavours caused tingles down the spine of many fans of Gossip Girl and Ms Hurley alike. The perfect mix of drama, fashion, IT girls and boys, and now Queen Hurley herself is eye wateringly scrumptious.

Diana Payne is a self made media mogul who exudes, confidence, sexiness and cougar like qualities as she’s already been spotted on set locking lips with 25 year old Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald). Liz Hurley’s arrival as a member of the Gossip Girl cast is sure to upset a few dynamics and break a few hearts.

Hurley has also caused a stir in real life, as this week her and boyfriend Shane Warne, an Australian cricketer, have announced their forthcoming nuptials, only 5 months after Hurley’s divorce from Indian textile mogul Arun Nayar. The team here at Swide wish the beautiful Liz Hurley the best of luck for her new beginnings, both on and off screen.
