Julia Roberts graces the cover of W Magazine

Posted Jul 6, 2011

One of Hollywoods' leading ladies takes the time to speak to W Magazine about her relationship with film and her private life.

She is a household name that has been made famous through many different on-screen guises and she is getting ready to add another one to her long list of iconic characters. Along side Tom Hanks, Roberts will be starring in the recession themed comedy 'Larry Corwne', which is hit the cinemas this month, and takes on the role of a feisty teacher who meets Larry Crowne, Tom Hanks, when he enrolls at the local community college to broaden his skills. The film is classed as a romantic comedy, Julia Roberts' forte, and a genre that Mr. Hanks is not to unfamiliar with either. A winning combination perhaps?

Julia Roberts is also known for censoring her life out of the public eye to great effect and only very occasionally allows glimpses of personal affairs to be seen, talked about or even to be asked about. In the article in W magazine she is praised for her ability to deflect any questions that she doesn't want to answer without refusing to and changing the subject at hand without the interviewer or audience realising. In these celeb hungry days I admire those who can keep the line between personal and public life clear cut but also keep the world begging for more. Maybe it is true what they say... less is more??
