From Fitness to Fashion: The rise of Ji Huanbo

Huanbo on the catwalk of the Men's Dolce&Gabbana FW13 show
Sashaying down the Dolce&Gabbana catwalk for their FW13 fashion show, Ji Huanbo got more than a few of the onlookers tongue tied. The Chinese talent also goes by the name Rock, a monicker that comes from his father who told Ji, when he was younger, to be as strong as a rock, “not so much physically but mentally”, he adds.
Well, it would appear that Ji has embraced the notion of being a rock and carved himself a body of epic proportions and matched it up with the smart and alert mind asked of him.

Making confident decisions, Ji Huanbo has picked up a series of awards during his career; he won the World’s Best Model in 2002, was second runner-up in the 2005 edition of the competition, noted as one of China’s top 10 models in 2007 and landed a contract with Bench Body China in 2009. With these impressive credentials under his belt, it is no wonder that we starting to see more and more of Ji as his name spreads around the world and, judging by the reaction he got on the catwalk, he is going to be very welcome.
