Emma Stone and her new found love of Spider-Man

Emma Stone was on Jay Leno this week promoting her three up and coming films and made time to nip down to Comic Con to discuss her love for all things Spider-man

Emma Stone, from Scottsdale in Arizona, has come a long way in the last few years. She has slowly widened the spotlight that shines down on her and has finally landed a block-buster role that is going to catapult her career even further. Does anyone know the comic super-hero Spider-Man? She will feature as Gwen Stacey, the love interest of Spider-Man, in the film, which is set for release in July next year. Emma had a little chat on the Jay Leno show this week to do a spot of promotion for the three films, The Amazing Spider-Man, Friends With Benefits (with Justin Timberlake) and Crazy, Stupid, Love (starring Ryan Gosling), and apparently had a blast as she laughed her way through the interview. Not only glamorous, but also a hoot.

She was also at Comic-Con in San Diego to take part in the unveiling of unseen footage from the film, that even she had not seen. Her response to this action is unknown but she is reportedly very pleased with the trailer that she got her hands on... as did the rest of the world. Her co-star Andrew Garfield is set to make hearts flutter as the lead of the film and stated that the Spider-Man saved his life. Well now it is his turn to do the same, I guess. At Comic-Con, Emma Stone said that before she landed the role in The Amazing Spider-Man what she knew of the franchise was only through the existing films and seeing kids dressed as the hero at Halloween. Since taking part in the film she has done her research and claims that she is definitely a fan of Spider-Man because of his message, his attitude and where he comes from. 

Either way, it is wonderful to see Emma Stone getting her time to shine as she has the comedic role honed and it is going to be great to see how she does in a massive block-buster!
