The blog called "Material World" should be the ultimate web destination for the Material Girl. The 13-year-old seems very thrilled about blogging and already revealed that she will dye her hair as soon as she will turn 14, next October. For her first fashion post, Lola chose to focus on the eighties and the looks inspired by this era that she loves. First the fashion line then the fashion blog...
The mother and the daughter have joined forces not to sing a chorus but to
co-design and launch a new fashion line called… “Material Girl”.More than
fifteen years after Madonna released her worldwide hit "Material Girl", we have
to admit that we are still living in a material world and need clothes to
support us. The new line will be sold exclusively at Macy’s from 3rd August
2010. The rumour has it that masculine style on feminine cuts should prevail. A
selection of denims, jackets and mini dresses should complete a fall 2010 offer
that is meant to be very affordable. Madonna took the High Street this time
around with a daughter that promises to be a trendsetter. In terms of branding,
a pop singer + her daughter is still a formula that works.
Rendez-vous on 3rd of August in front of Macy’s to check out the collection and
