Fergie reveals the real story of her wedding dress

Who doesn't want to flounce around in a big white dress and be the centre of attention for day? Try however combining this with your inner rock goddess. Fergie's very dilemma reached the ears of Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana and the problem was solved...
Congrats Fergie and Josh! We asked newlywed Fergie to explain what really went into the designing of her most important dress to date - her wedding dress. Below, she reveals the full story.
"When it came to the time to actually plan my wedding, one of the biggest days of my life, I asked my good friends, Domenico and Stefano if they would consider making my wedding dress. I've worn their creations so many times, to so many different events and every time, I felt so amazing in their clothes.
Josh (Fergie's new husband, actor Josh Duhamel) and I wanted to create an elegant, ethereal yet whimsical feel for the wedding and I knew from the beginning that the dress would need to be really special in order to achieve this. The dress they created was part "princess" and part "rock goddess" yet always sophisticated and elegant, and from the moment I saw their creation, I knew that I had made the right choice. (And yes, I was a little emotional too.)
Watching Domenico and Stefano work in their atelier that day in Milan right before Christmas was a truly amazing experience. When two people, who are as gifted as Domenico and Stefano are, put their heart and soul into something so close to your very own heart, it makes you stop and realize how lucky you are and how special the moment is."
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana added their sentiments, "Fergie is a great friend...we were incredibly honored to work with her on such an important occasion..." We were however left wondering however if Domenico and Stefano managed to leave their atelier at all over Christmas? Girls with looming wedding dates? Better make friends with the boys asap.
