The David Lynch interview project

Posted Oct 9, 2009

This new series is a 20,000-mile road trip over 70 days across the U.S where people are interviewed along the way. Subjects were found driving around the roads, and in bars and it’s fascinating stuff without any hint of reality kitsch.

Director David Lynch, on how The Interview Project started,

There was no plan. The team found the people the people told their stories.”

And on why we should watch it...

It’s very fascinating to listen to people. Its human and you can’t stay away from it.”

Watch David explain the project himself below.

Mrs Dennis' first husband was killed by criminals who she now says she's forgiven. Married to a preacher who's also in his 90's, watch the episode here.

The team met John David at the Under-the-Hill Saloon in Natchez, Mississippi who describes himself as a 'bucanner'. Learn how to get a raise the Missippi way.
