No more lonely luggage

The project www.isthisyourluggage.com, began casually whilst artist Luna Laboo was watching a TV report on luggage going missing at London airport. Wondering where the lost suitcases went to - the artist started her research on suitcase heaven.
Discovering every major airport holds an auction where lost luggage is sold for €30-€60 - what began, was a strange, new shopping addiction. Intrigued by people's intimacy and, "especially personal things, like dirty clothes", the artist coulnd't believe her excitement at discovering what goodies these lost suitcase were holding.
After opening her suitcase shopping haul, Luna then photographs them in meticiulous detail. The result is a emotional collection of spent moments, emotions, people’s unknown tracks and useless souvenirs. So touched by what she's found, Luna is now on a mission to reunite them with their proper owners.
Her site www.isthisyourluggage.com is a voyeristic and touching look at lonely luggage and their search for their rightful owners.
Think before you stuff your suitcase with dirty laundry - it may end up in artist's hands.
