Hell has never looked so heavenly!

It was only three weeks into its making that Clouzot’s epic film on jealousy came to an unexpected halt; if three short weeks managed to bring us those insane images we can only dream of the final product that never was. Film of the decade, maybe of a whole generation (getting carried away, us?). Since dwelling on things isn’t so chic we’ll very happily settle for the exclusive original footage brought to us courtesy of Clouzot’s Inferno, the exciting French behind-the-scenes documentary.
Director Serge Bromberg has succeeded where numerous others previously failed (bearing in mind that the film had always been some sort of a urban legend) in convincing Clouzot’s widow to release the footage. It is a visual feast and we will watch it till saturation point. And then some more. Enjoy a little preview and see you in Romy's hell!

Things get even better...

Clouzot is a well-respected director thanks to masterpieces such as The Truth or Les Diaboliques and muses such as Brigitte Bardot but this release might be a chance to make him the legend with the visionary mind fate never allowed him to be. But enough dramatic tones, let's look at the pretty images once more!

Bardot, one of the inspirations for the S/S10 D&G collection, was one of Clouzot’s muses; above, a stunning shot from Clouzot’s The Truth.
