Art's bad boy

Posted Jan 8, 2009

Describing himself as the Naomi Campbell of the fashion world, Terence Koh's latest work titled "The Station," features our new favourite facebook quote - "When life gives you lemons, add vodka". Coming next for the asianpunkboy is...

Chinese - Canadian artist alias "asianpunkboy", has a site that traps you for hours with its art archive that reads like a sexy, slutty blog www.asianpunkboy.com/holes/ . It provides a mass of inspiration (some of it not always healthy of course - but it will reach your inner bohemian/rebellious side.

The mundane and the naughty come together on his site - and his work, but goes way beyond the usual amateur, "I'm an artist - look at me finding inspiration in everyday life" - its darker, meaner, and definitely not cleaner than the usual nonsense.

Next for Terence Koh after following his well publized appearance during the Miami Art Basel is, “KKK: Koons, Kelly, Koh ” showing at NY's Mary Boone gallery in Feb 2009.

Koh's work can also be found via www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/artists/terence_koh
