The Parisian art gallery E.G.P will soon reveal Irina Ionesco's fashion photographs.

Spring, Paris, les Abesses, a very intimate venue the Galerie E.G.P (Espace Gemain Pilon) showcasing Irina Ionesco fashion photographs, nothing should stop us from booking a Parisian weekend. If you are already there, do not miss one of the most glamorous and inspiring fashion exhibitions of the season.

Galerie E.G.P is for the connoisseurs and the fortunate people who happen to pass by.  The artists presented are everything but standard and the selections are very much thought after. No wonder then, that Irina Ionesco has chosen E.G.P to reveal a selection of her work as a fashion photographer. From her past as a dancer she certainly has a sense for grace and taste for what makes a beautiful and inspiring attire. Most of the pieces show women in bejewelled clothes surrounded by fetishist objects.
Shots were taken for major international fashion magazines such as Vogue or Dazed and Confused; they unveil the extreme sensuality of Irina’s universe.
The characters captured by Irina seem to play with the distance, sometimes close to the viewer, sometimes far away. Unreachable they remain to let us free with our imagination.

“Italiana”: An Italian style comedy by Luca Finotti

The Matt Silk Collection for SS12 is cool, pretty and perfectly in tune with this season’s main trend: Fifties. Luca Finotti, an up and coming Italian director was charged with creating a video to contextualize the inspiration behind the glasses. Drawing from by the classic Italian Fifties comedies, the video tells a story of ironic jealousy between mother and daughter. Think classic car, Bianca Balti, vintage music, Italian scenery. The story for the video was created by Swide, styled by Yuri Ahn and directed by Luca Finotti. A Fifties day out for a contemporary woman.
