Never without mon BFF

The fashionista is often rumoured to be a heartless and tough species but not every front row is "kell" on Earth; this Paris Fashion Week we witnessed a number of heart-warming moments. The P(ublic) D(isplay) of A(ffection) has just gotten chic.

The eagle-eyed snappers at Shoot the Breeze travelled the length of the Tuileries on the lookout for those fashionable PDAs.

Carine and Emmanuelle set the ultimate example: best workmates and fashion soulmates, plus a friendly arm to lean on is always useful in those stilettos!

Others might go a little OTT with their PDAs but in the red lipstick jungle that is a fashion week it's everything you can do to grab a little spotlight.

Model #1: "No darling, you look nothing like a retarded panda in this make-up..."

Model #2: "No, you're right, we *both* look like pandas, both retarded and anorexic." A fashion week BFF is essential for all these times when the best option is to laugh at yourself.

Snappy girl: "Pose as though I had a French accent and was called Garance".

Speccy girl:  "Ahem, 'Garance', I think you forgot to take the black thingy off the lens..." A FWBFF is also very precious when going through all these not-so-bright moments.

Some BFFs are for fashion week, others are for life; in case we had doubts on her love for Sasha Maryna is wearing her heart on her chest. They then walked off hand in hand on the catwalk and lived fashionably ever after!

With special thanks to the lovely girls at Shoot the Breeze.
